Day 6 (April 25, 2017): London > Venice > Paris > Mont St-Michel, and finally.....

Our United Boeing 767-400 was one-third full, at best. We wondered if the bad publicity around the recent passenger being hauled off a United flight had resulted in many people abandoning United? I was going to fly Pam to New York on the Concorde, but alas, it was full. (Kidding! This is one of the last Air France Concordes, which is permemantly mounted on the tarmac at Charles de Gaulle Airport.) Lunch on our United flight. Not shown: the delicious ice cream for dessert! Just before we reached Newfoundland's Great Northern Peninsula, the Arctic ice floes became quite evident. What a contrast to springtime in Paris! We took the train from Newark Liberty to Penn Station in Manhatten, and then transferred to the Subway to get to surprise event #1 for the day...
